Young Achievers Earn Their Place in the Spotlight
Parents, governors, primary headteachers and staff gathered at CSIA on Thursday 27th June to celebrate the success of their Year 7, 8 and 9 students, at the school’s annual ‘Celebration of Achievement’ event.
The evening saw over 400 guests attend to see awards presented for outstanding academic achievement and commitment in the full range of subjects.
“We are very proud of our CSIA students and everything they have achieved this year – they all play an instrumental part in making our Academy such a highly regarded and revered school. Events like this showcase what incredible talent we have here,” said Vice Principal Mark Fenlon. “The evening is always such a highlight of the school calendar and this year was no exception – it’s wonderful to be able to recognise our students and their hard work throughout the year.”
The audience was entertained with outstanding performances from Lola G of Year 7, and Corey W and Anya A, both of Year 9. Camborne Youth Band showcased again with wonderful performances.
