If you enjoy the outdoors and can take a lead role in maintaining the Academy’s grounds and outdoor facilities, then we need you to ensure that the outside environment is safe and presentable for students, staff and visitors.
The Academy is set in 33 acres, 24 of which are sports areas and playing fields. The role will require successful applicants to be able to maintain all the outside spaces and be proactive in addressing any health and safety concerns and/or reporting any major defects. Successful candidates will also act as a joint keyholder, opening and locking the Academy Sites as required.
This role is also a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 2 years practical experience of grounds maintenance, a Level 2 NVQ, GNVQ or GCSE qualification (or relevant experience) and a driver’s license.

Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly in supporting the Premises Manager and Site Team, working closely with Contractors when needed.
