Director of Year

We seek to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and dynamic colleague with the ‘wow’ factor to join our high performing and highly regarded academy; we are self-reflecting and continually striving to improve. Due to the ever increasing popularity of the school, we seek to appoint a Director of Year to lead, with an Assistant Principal, on meeting the pastoral and safeguarding needs of the students for the year group as well as meeting CSIA expectations for behaviour, attendance, punctuality and uniform. The successful candidate will maintain a culture of high expectations and standards for all students in the year group and will seek out and lead on innovative and creative initiatives.

We welcome applications from both internal and external candidates who are exceptional leaders, quick to learn and can clearly demonstrate significant positive impact in their current role; we are flexible regarding the subject specialism for candidates. You will be passionate about ensuring all students in the year group have an outstanding educational experience and achieve their personal and academic potential; you will be relentless in your drive to ensure all students meet expectations. This post affords scope for colleagues who wish to progress in their career to Senior Leadership, by gaining experience across a wide range of aspects of school management.
