Due to the ever-increasing popularity of the school, we seek to appoint Deputy Directors of Year to lead, with an Assistant Principal Director of Year, on all students in the year group meeting CSIA expectations for behaviour, attendance, punctuality and uniform.  The successful candidates will maintain a culture of high expectations and standards for all students in the year group and will seek out and lead on innovative and creative initiatives. The Deputy Director of Year will take a lead role in meeting the pastoral and safeguarding needs of students for the year group.

You will be passionate about ensuring all students in the year group have an outstanding educational experience and achieve their personal and academic potential; you will be relentless in your drive in all students meeting expectations. This post affords scope for colleagues who wish to progress in their career to Senior Leadership; you will gain experience across a wide range of aspects of school leadership.

Camborne Science and International Academy is a dynamic and innovative school in the heart of beautiful West Cornwall, which affords a very high quality of life.  CSIA is one of Cornwall’s most successful schools, consistently being one of the highest performing state schools in Cornwall. Our post-16 results in 2019, place us in the top 10% of sixth forms nationally and the top in Cornwall.  It is home to the Nexus Campus offering both the Gifted Programme which develops and nurtures the most able students and CSMS, which makes provision and enrichment for the most able at post-16 in Sciences and Mathematics.
