Teaching Assistant – Visual Impairment Specialist

The post will involve a variety of activities including supporting Visually Impaired student(s) in day to day activities within the school. The postholder would need to support staff by providing Braille resources along with the TA VI Support once qualified.

It would be advantageous for the successful candidates to have experience of working with the visually impaired. The successful candidates would be expected to complete a qualification in Braille if they did not already have one.

The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
