We are looking to appoint a professional, dynamic and inspirational School Business Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team who will lead and manage on all non-teaching statutory requirements and support teams within the Trust.

The Business Manager is the Trust’s leading support staff professional with responsibility for managing the strategy and operational business support functions of The Trust, promoting the highest standards of business ethos to ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the Trust’s learning objectives.

The post holder will hold a number of statutory roles, including that of Chief Financial Officer for The CSIA Trust and therefore have responsibility for the strategic planning and management of the school’s budget advising on financial matters to Trustees, Governors and the Senior Team. The ability to produce reports and communicate to key stakeholders complex financial information is essential, as is ensuring financial propriety with adherence to necessary statutory obligations.

The Business Manager, is responsible for the operational management of the non-teaching element of the school. These will include; Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Data, Health and Safety, Site and Facilities, IT and Marketing, as well as the externally outsourced services.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification with substantial financial management experience and, have experience in managing at least some of the relevant operations within an education setting or in a relevant field outside of education. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the upmost integrity and the ability to forge positive working relationships with individuals within all levels of the organisation.
