Community Resources
Here at Camborne Science & International Academy we are proud of our connections to various local community clubs who make good use of these premises after the school day which usually ends at around 4:00PM. We have a large array of opportunities for the letting areas of the school including:
- Planets Arena – a large staged hall with tiered seating
- Sports Surfaces – including fields, sports hall, gym & MUGA (Multi-User Games Area)
- Dance/Yoga studio – a professional standard studio for dance or yoga
- Class, Training or Meeting rooms – including fully equipped ICT rooms
- Einsteiners Restaurant – a fully equipped cafeteria for all occasions
We are equipped with in-house catering facilities which can be requested to provide food and beverages for any planned event.

Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)
The MUGA or Multi Use Games Area is a large fenced and flood lit soft surfaced area. This facility is ideal for football or hockey training.
Planets Arena
The Planets arena is our main hall here at Camborne Science & International Academy, it is fully equipped with projector, sound and lighting equipment. The hall seats 200 in comfortable tiered stalls. The Arena has been used in the past as a music venue, for training events, for musical, dramatic or dance productions, or simply as a large space for meetings. This is a licenced venue, Catering can be provided on request through our in-house catering team. Technical support for IT, sound or lighting is also available on request.
Hard Courts
This is a large fenced and newly surfaced tarmac area, which can house up to 12 tennis courts, 9 netball courts, 1 full football pitch, 1 hockey pitch or 3 mini-pitches. This is an ideal training area.
DT Workshops & Atrium
Our Design Technology workshops are all newly built and boast state of the art CAD CAM equipment. The rooms are all built for purpose whether it be Product Design, Food, Graphic or Textile based activities. The Design Technology Workshops are all satellite rooms to a large atrium which is equipped with projector and sound equipment as well as utilitarian seating and table system which can be set up as requested. The Atrium is an ideal venue as an air training venue, for meetings or presentations. Use of the Workshops is limited to organised education based activities only, though the atrium can be booked separately.
ICT Facilities
The ICT facilities within this school are outstanding. Use of classroom facilities is restricted to organised education based activities. If you are planning a training event or educational based meeting, we can accommodate all your needs including access to ICT resources and catering.
Grass Pitches
We have a huge and well kept grassed sports field, which can house up to 6 full pitches for rugby or football. This area is ideal for most grass-based sports as a match or training venue.
Dance Studio
We offer a well lit contemporary Dance Studio fitted with full length mirrors, lighting and sound system.
