Born from our motto “Learning to be Extraordinary” and the extraordinary actions that our students take every day, and particularly during lockdown in March – July 2020, the Extraordinary Me Awards are a recognition of development of character. The Extraordinary Me Home Learning Awards celebrated the remarkable actions our students took during the lockdown period and acknowledged their development of character. Extraordinary times called for extraordinary awards.
Georgiana B
Our first student to collect all of her Gold certificates for the Extraordinary Me Home Learning Awards. She completed online courses to find out more about brain surgery because she wants to be a surgeon; helped her family develop better environmental habits; supported friends; volunteered in her village and built up her creativity skills with her artwork. Many students swiftly followed suit, with our students consistently demonstrating how extraordinary they are.

Extraordinary Me Awards – recognition of the learning journey
Extraordinary young people deserve to continue having their growth as an individual recognised and celebrated. Our awards follow the learning journey that students take through CSIA with Year 6 students starting on their Foundation Award to support their transition into CSIA and continuing on to the Year 11 Graduate Award. Our Character Values are then further recognised at VIth Form with the Honours Programme. The activities on the learning journey allow students to develop and demonstrate our values. We are proud to work with such an amazing community of young people. The well rounded individual that is ready for life beyond school has the confidence to share with others their achievements and lead by example, with integrity and altruism. Our Awards provide our students with a record of their achievements to celebrate their positive successes.
“This has helped me because it has given me the opportunity to learn how to become a better person and better my skills in some areas to help me become a more rounded individual, not just academically. It has also given me the opportunity to explore my interests and how I might use them to help people.”
