The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador Programme
Welcome to the Camborne Science and International Academy’s Online Anti-Bullying Hub.
This area is designed to support parents and students by offering practical Anti-Bullying advice. We also have an online reporting form, which you can use to pass on any concerns. You can also report directly to CEOP which is a law enforcement agency which is there to keep children and young people safe from sexual exploitation and abuse.
As always, this page is an addition to the already strong support that school offers to students. Please encourage your child to alert their Year Team of any bullying incidents.
At CSIA we have seven Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who have completed training through The Diana Award. These students travelled to Helston Community College in November 2022 to complete the training which will kick start and develop our schools Anti-Bullying Work and allow students to creatively explore and understand the topic of bullying. At the training day the students covered the following content;
- Understanding the issues of bullying; facts, the definition, and the effects of bullying
- Practical ideas, top tips and explore scenario’s on bullying in groups
- Basic training looking at the skills needed to support others and stay safe
- Online safety and approaches students and staff can take to staying safe online and educating their peers
- A networking session with students from other schools to share ideas
- Video examples of schools the company already work with
- Action planning – helping students to think of a plan to take back to school and set targets and aims for their Anti-Bullying work
