Students to chose one option for the week below:
Option 1 – 5 different activites
St Michael’s Mount, Geevor Mine, Bodmin Moor, Perranporth Beach and Creative Cornish Challenge
Eden Project, River Fal Trip, The Great Flat Lode, Surfing and lawn bowls and Tehidy Woods
St Michael’s Way, Granite Planet, The Great British Seaside, Art Attack and Falmouth Sea Summit.
Option 2 – Performing Arts (All years)
Monday to Wednesday
Acting, singing, dancing and creating stage and costumes for a musical performance. Sessions led by Professional Performing Arts specialists.
Dress rehearsals and performance of the week’s work to a friends and family audience.
After show celebration; watching a film of the week’s work and then a current Musical (with a pizza/popcorn buffet).
Option 3 – Media Team* (All years) *Note places are limited
CSIA Media Team Conference. Learn the skills of the trade needed for the week – punchy podcasts, fantastic film and stunning stills.
Tuesday to Thursday
Join your year groups to capture the mood of the week: the highs, the lows and, possibly some funny outtakes. You will need to liaise with the school media team to get your podcasts and stills published on the school website and social media.
The Final Cut. Spend the day editing your final film footage to create the perfect memory for your year group. Who will win the CSIA Challenge Week BAFTA?
