We are seeking to appoint a capable, enthusiastic and inspiring colleague to join our MFL Faculty The successful candidate will be able to teach French to GCSE. The ability to teach to A level is helpful but not a pre-requisite for the post. The ability to offer Spanish as an additional language would also be an advantage.  We seek a person who has a proven track record of ensuring high student outcomes and someone who can consistently teach good or better lessons.  You will be able to enthuse and motivate our staff and students with your passion for languages with dynamic teaching, presence and personality.

We have a large, strong and vibrant Sixth Form and A level Modern Foreign Languages are offered to our students.

Camborne Science and International Academy is a dynamic and innovative school in the heart of beautiful West Cornwall; which affords a very high quality of life.  CSIA is one of Cornwall’s most successful schools, having been one of the highest performing state schools in Cornwall for the past 4 years.  CSIA is home to the Nexus STEM and PPE programme for gifted students in KS3 and 4 and Cornwall School of Maths and Science in the VI Form. We run a very active Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme with over 200 students involved and field Ten Tors teams each year.

Our school has developed exceptional International Science and Mathematics links with top schools in the Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China, South Korea, Australia and Canada.  Recent collaboration has involved joint research projects, International Science and Mathematics fairs and competitions, as well as many significant student/staff visits and exchanges.  The successful appointee will be encouraged to participate in this amazing and unique programme.
