On 22nd and 23rd February 2012 Camborne Science & International Academy underwent a whole school Inspection under the new Ofsted framework introduced on 1st January 2012. Ofsted awarded the school a ‘good’ grading for all four areas of inspection: Achievement of pupils; Quality of teaching; Behaviour and safety of pupils; Leadership and management. Overall the school was judged good with many strengths. Principal, Ian Kenworthy commented:

This is a fantastic outcome not only for our academy but also for the community we serve. The report recognises the tremendous commitment of our staff and the consistently high quality of Teaching and Learning they provide. I would like to thank every member of staff for all the hard work they put in to ensuring our students gain the best possible educational experience.
