Science Teaching and Learning at CSCC is outstanding - that’s official!
Governors, staff and students have been celebrating the Science Faculty’s recent “Outstanding” Ofsted Inspection report. Principal, Ian Kenworthy, was delighted with the outcome, particularly since Science is the school’s area of specialism.
The faculty was judged to be outstanding in all respects which included Student Achievement; Quality of Teaching; Quality of Curriculum and Effectiveness of Leadership & Management of Science.

Welcome
A warm welcome to Camborne Science and Community College’s website. We trust this will prove to be a useful site for students, parents and our many friends - locally, nationally and internationally. We are very proud of our school and all its major achievements. We hope that through this website we will keep everyone informed of all our latest exciting initiatives and developments.
We are committed to creating opportunity, promoting achievement and encouraging responsibility. We believe in nurturing personal development in a welcoming and self-disciplined environment.
Our school motto is “Learning for Life”. We believe that learning should continue throughout life. Our aim is to provide an environment which is both stimulating and challenging, not only within the school complex but further afield in other countries, so that when students leave this school they have acquainted themselves with cultures and lifestyles different to their own and acquired a thirst for further knowledge that may extend beyond their chosen area of study. Camborne Science and Community College is merely the first step of many on life’s journey.
