Salary scale £25,000 – £35,000 d.o.e.

We seek to appoint a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our team, providing professional HR support to the Trust. Key duties will involve offering advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team on a range of HR issues, and playing a lead role in the development of efficient and effective working practices across the Trust.

The HR Manager will lead the personnel team in completing responsibilities including the management of school recruitment processes, the administration of staff salaries, liaison with external payroll service providers, maintenance of accurate staff records, responsibility for the maintenance of Trust schools’ Single Central Records and ensuring safeguarding legislation is complied with.

The ideal candidate will have relevant HR qualifications, while previous HR experience, good management and administration skills and experience of working in a busy office environment are essential.  With a good standard of literacy and numeracy (at least 5 GCSEs at A*-C including English and Maths), they will have the confidence to make their own decisions and possess the determination, resilience, communication and interpersonal skills to deal with potentially sensitive issues.

The successful applicant will also have a good standard of practical ICT skills and will be required to use SIMS (School data system) and MS Office packages, experience of which would be desirable, though training will be provided.
