Caitlyn O, who is in Year 11 at CSIA, has been successful at the latest Team Bath national Netball Performance League trials and she has accepted a place in the NPL training squad for the 2017 season.
Her training will be every Tuesday from 715-10pm at Bath University starting on November the 8th.
The Sixth Form Rugby Academy were in for a real treat, when former pupil Samuel Matavesi (Class of 2008) came in to speak to the players.
Camborne Science and International Acadeny is hosting another programme of inspirational and exciting 'Super Saturday' workshops. These sessions are for Year 5 and Year 6 students from our partner primary schools.

On Saturday 1st October, a group of intrepid explorers took over CSIA! Students from Year 5 and Year 6 arrived on Saturday morning to hunt for clues which would open the elusive treasure chest. The teams gathered in the main hall, equipped with cool logic, mental arithmetic and their skills of deduction, before rushing out to discover the answer to some fiendishly difficult Maths challenges.
A group of Year 5 and 6 primary students were invited to Camborne Science and International Academy recently for a day of extraordinary scientific experiments using a bowl of fruit.
Nexus is CSIA's specialist centre for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, providing a bespoke education for the most-able students in these areas.
This unique initiative is led by one of the South West's most successful State Academies.
The Nexus Open Evening will be held on 28th September at 6pm at our specialist campus next to Camborne Railway Station which is close to the main CSIA Campus.

On Tuesday 20th September 2016, 45 Sport and Science Students from Years 10, 12, 13 and 14 went to the Marjon University in Plymouth. We left CSIA at 745 and arrived at Marjon at 930am. We were greeted in Reception by the Student Ambassadors who gave each of us a goodie bag and prospectus. The students were split into two groups to participate in the different activities.
The red carpet was rolled out for the Year 11 students from Camborne Science and International Academy for their end of year Prom this week. Principal at CSIA, Ian Kenworthy, paid tribute to an 'outstanding' cohort saying "An amazing evening was had by all and our students, as always, were a credit to our academy."
Teachers and parents gathered at Camborne Science and International Academy on Thursday 30th June to celebrate the success of their Year 7, 8 and 9 students, at the school's annual 'Celebration of Achievement' event.
The evening, attended by over 400 guests, saw awards presented for outstanding academic achievement and commitment in the full range of subjects.
